Here, there are no bots, no fake profiles, and no artificial amplification—just real people engaging respectfully. These guidelines help us create a space where everyone feels safe and welcome.
Our Rules
1. Be real
wedium is a space for real people and real interactions.
Allowed:
- One account per person
- Real names or clearly identifiable pseudonyms
- Authentic interactions
Not allowed:
- Bots or automated profiles
- Fake identities or stolen profiles
- AI profiles pretending to be human
- Bought likes, followers, or interactions
Why? Trust only works when it’s clear: There’s a real person behind every profile.
2. Label AI content
Transparency matters. If you post AI-generated content, you must label it clearly.
Allowed:
- AI-generated images, text, or videos with a note like “Created with AI” or “AI-generated”
- You can find the AI content label in the upload form under “Additional Options”, “AI-generated content”
Not allowed:
- AI content without disclosure
- AI passed off as human work
Why? Users should know what they’re seeing—and who to trust.
3. Communicate respectfully
Discussions are welcome—but always with respect.
Allowed:
- Factual criticism and exchange of opinions
- Constructive discussions, even on controversial topics
- Humor and irony, as long as they’re not hurtful
Not allowed:
- Insults, name-calling, or belittling others
- Hate speech or discrimination (e.g., based on origin, religion, gender, sexuality, disability)
- Deliberate provocation or bullying
- Threats or intimidation
Why? Words have weight. We want a space that empowers people—not one that harms them.
4. Protect others’ privacy
Respecting everyone’s privacy is a top priority for us.
Allowed:
- Sharing content you have permission to post
- Respecting others’ boundaries
Not allowed:
- Publishing private data (e.g., addresses, phone numbers) without consent
- Screenshots or recordings that embarrass others
- Deepfakes or AI-generated content that impersonates or defames real people
Why? Safety is the foundation of openness.
5. No explicit content
When it comes to nudity, clear boundaries apply.
Allowed:
- Topless (non-sexual)
- Educational and health-related content (e.g., medical illustrations or anatomical diagrams)
- Breastfeeding
Not allowed:
- Genitalia or sexual acts
- Pornography or sexually explicit content
- Graphic depictions of violence or abuse
- Content that exploits children or minors
Note: For educational content, please consult our team in advance.
6. No spam
We want an honest and transparent discourse.
Allowed:
- Ads clearly labeled as “Ad”, “Advertisement”, or “Sponsored”
Not allowed:
- Hidden ad campaigns or native ads
- Algorithmic manipulation (e.g., artificially boosting content)
- Repeated posting of the same content (spam)
- Fraud attempts (e.g., phishing, scams)
Why? Transparency protects the integrity of our community.
7. No violence
Violence has no place on wedium—neither in words nor in images.
Not allowed:
- Threats or calls to violence
- Graphic depictions of violence or self-harm
- Glorification of violence or terrorism
- Content that promotes suicide or self-harm
Why? We want a safe space for everyone.
Moderation: fair and transparent
Our goal is not punishment but protecting the community. We act understandably and proportionately.
How we moderate:
- Every report is reviewed by a real person.
- For violations, we quote the specific rule that was broken—not just link to it.
- We act based on behavior, not opinions.
Possible steps:
- Friendly reminder – for minor offenses.
- Warning – for first serious offenses.
- Temporary restriction (e.g., 3-day posting ban) – for repeated offenses.
- Temporary ban (e.g., 1 week) – for severe offenses.
- Permanent ban – for serious or repeated offenses (e.g., hate speech, calls to violence).
